Richmond Civil Court

I was a landlord suing my tenants that ran away from my house. They destroyed walls, damaged floors and all fixtures. Damage was around 20.000 dollars, on top of that they owed me 3 month rent which was 4500 dollars. I took them to court for 5000 dollars. Even though I had photos and receipts to prove.Arbitrator refused to look at the evidence. To my surprise tenants admitted they owe me money. But he had a big smile and dismissed the suit. It looks like arbitrators and judges experience a lot of pleasure to rule unjust and see victims suffer even more. Probably same thing happen to them they suffered greatly and want to continue negative trend

Don't waste your time going there. Better pay a lawyer when you know you're right, cause you're gonna loose your case. Disappointed, wasted time. Justice exist only in dictionary as a word, unfortunately

The court officers at this location treat the public like they are criminals. We are not coming from Rikers Island when we enter the building so please do not treat me like you just took my belt and shoe laces! Sad display of disrespect from everyone including Sr. Court Clerk Gilbert Flores.

Arbitrator was a imbecile. She was a italian looking woman in her 50's.nnMy cousin got drunk and crashed my car and didn't pay me but he admitted that he did the damage so how it happened is irrelevant to the civil case. I told the arbitrator that I would only disclose the information relevant to the case in the beginning because I didn't want to incriminate my cousin despite the fact that he crashed my car. She took this as evidence of me being a liar and granted me less than half the claim that I had asked for. She didn't even take the time to look through all my expenses (had lots of paperwork) and she basically came up with a judgement within 3 minutes or so.nnWhen I was drunk I was in my own cars passenger seat nearly passed out so I never consented to my cousin taking my car.. I have a good memory even when I drink. I was nearly passes out and he had drank more than me so why would I consent? But somehow this was a implausible scenario to the arbitrator for some reason and she told me that she was absolutely 100% without a doubt that I gave the man permission. Well excuse me but I didn't realize you were there when this all happened? As far as I can see it's my word against his.. you can't know with 100% certainty especially since my story did not have ANY holes in it.nnI think she thought she was smart and that I was a liar but she's too dumb to see that I just didn't want to incriminate him I just wanted money for the damages which he admitted to causing. So the only question she should have been concerned with should have been what were the total damages. Maybe she likes to pretend she's a actual judge and not an unpaid worker who is too dumb to become a judge.nnI am sure some arbitrators are better than others but I guess I was unfortunate to have to deal with this one. So be careful when you go in and make sure you insist on them looking at all the evidence and if they seem incompetent ask for a new arbitrator or something.nnBy the way my cousin which she took pity on still hasn't paid me a penny of the ordered amount. It has been 3 months since the verdict. Great judge of character there miss Albert Einstein.
