We love the total atmosphere, the books of all genres, the service, the cafe and the Bistro. The children''s section is wonderful with something for all ages. It was the first business my husband and I went to when stores were allowed to reopen after the lockdown. It was safe and gave that feeling of the eternities that all the best bookstores give. It remains one of our best treats and safe havens all in one

I used to go to Joseph-Beth because it is a relaxing atmosphere and its fun to visit. However, over the last several months and years I have noticed an increasing number of tables prominently displaying political literature to the point that it's overwhelming. As a retail establishment I believe you should welcoming of all beliefs and endorse materials representing all sides of the political spectrum or none at all. I have progressively left feeling angry and dissatisfied and will be taking a break from shopping at Joseph- Beth as I don't feel welcome.

I love real books!

One of the last book stores in the city, and has always been one of the best. They have a great section for kids. Store is clean, organized, staff is friendly and helpful (and patient with my sometimes loud kids). Make sure to visit and support them at least once per month! We need to keep physical book stores in business!

Fantastic bookstore. Big enough with enough books to rival the big bookstores. The employees are warm and friendly and very quick to help out with whatever they can. We were even able to buy a drink and wander the bookstore with a drink. Definitely worth a visit and a membership!
