Roseland Free Public Library

This is a hidden gem in Roseland. Thanks to all that work and volunteer here!

If I were reviewing the building and hours alone, I'd give the place five stars. This library is spacious and well lit, and one of the rare municipal libraries to stay open until 9 on most days. Unfortunately, however, if you're looking for a bit of QUIET, it leaves quite a bit to be desired. Many of the patrons simply can't be counted on to keep it down. Worse, neither can some of the staff. Also, some groups (book groups, presumably) meet here, and instead of taking advantage of the library's size by using one of the side rooms, they hold these meetings in the main part of the building.

I like the long hours during the week friendly staff. Quiet place for the most part.

Wonderful library. Helpful librarians. Lots of activities for children.
