We love Dr. Pilar!! After much research and calls to numerous TMJ specialists Dr. Pilar was the only Dr. to take the time to talk to me and explain everything before I even made an appointment. My 14 year old daughter was suffering from headaches, Restless sleep, and every time she opened her mouth wide to eat a sandwich or yawn her jaw would click loudly and cause pain. Other doctors had a wait of over a month, Dr. Pilar made an appointment with in a week. He is very knowledgeable, and explains EVERYTHING in detail. He makes the orthotic himself, so you will walk out of your appointment with it in hand. You will not have to wait weeks and then go back to get it like with other doctors. The first night my daughter wore her orthotic to sleep not much changed but from the second night on she slept soundly throughout the night, and the clicking subsided.
