Clark Montessori is a wonderful public Montessori school. As the Nations first Public Montessori it lives up to its expectations. They have amazing staff and the learning style is like no other. Clark has wonderful field studies where you can go out into the public and elsewhere like the Bahamas and learn something new and amazing. Intersessions are like field studies for 9-12th graders where you can go out of the state and learn even more things or stay at the school and learn things like, ASL, how to build a canoe, or even learn things you will need later on in life. Clark is a amazing place for anyone and lives up to being called the Nations First Public Montessori School.

A amazing school to send your kids to if you live in Cincinnati.

My son is in his first (7th grade) year at Clark. He is very motivated by his experience. He has always been at a Montessori school and we couldn't be happier. He has an IEP and his teachers are always available to help, whether it is after school help or by email, text or phone calls. They always respond and are truly involved in his ongoing success.

Staff aren't helpful, some teachers are blunt and won't really help you out if you are lost or in need of assistance. I love Montessori schools, but i'm tired of this one... Teachers and other staff need more training. At clark you have to pay thousands of dollars on trips that are necessary to pass and be able to graduate. There are scholarship opportunities but I know that not every kid and their parents can afford to pay for mandatory trips every year because I know I can't. Most students are really nice, thats why I like Montessori schools, they get us all involved and we are a big community, but like at any other school there are the occasional bullies and the teachers and principle don't really take care of the situation. I have many cons to this school but I do have a couple pros. You get to experience a community atmosphere, meaning that you will feel more included in class and activities and there a lot of cool trip opportunities (such as Hawaii and Ecuador). One more (extra) big con that is a pet peeve, the school is absolutely DIRTY and disgusting, the halls are so dirty and covered with food and trash. The school smells pretty bad as well. The janitors do clean but not that well. I will be graduating next year, i'm happy to get out of there lol. Good luck to those joining clark in the upcoming years!
