MVPT Physical Therapy-Portsmouth

MVPT was presented with my need for immediate in home services. Although they couldn't accommodate me in my home, Zack came an hour before the normal opening time to be sure I was seen the day following my knee replacement surgery. Then he came in on Saturday morning just to get me started on my plan. He consulted with his boss Susan, and she was at my next appointment to help with swelling and stiffness. These people have been absolutely the most caring people. I would recommend this group to everyone.nnI would like to add an update.nSince I posted this review, I have worked with Tammi also. She is very good at getting me to go a little further than I think I can, and is very patient and willing to explain anything I ask about. She is also very assuring about my abilities. Thank you to Zack, Susan and Tammi.

Eric is my PT at MVPT. He was very helpful after a bad hamstring tear and rotator cuff impingement in 2016. I had some difficulty accomplishing certain tasks at my gym, and he gave me alternative ways to accomplish the same results. I am currently a patient for soft tissue inflammation post foot surgery. Savanna is very dedicated and professional. Saw her for pt to see if it would help my right hip, as I had Arthroscopic surgery in March just 2 weeks before the COVID outbreak and was unable to do pt then. Now once I have my hip replaced I will definitely be scheduled pt with savanna

had ACL surgery 6 months ago in November. It has been a long process getting my surgery leg strong enough to return to my sport. I would have not been able to do this without the help of all of the Physical Therapists at abilities. I have gotten pointers from each and every therapist. Each one had a different point of view and it was great to get the feedback to make myself stronger. I would have not chosen any other therapy place. Everyone is very friendly and will not make you do something that hurts, they will challenge you. A challenge is good. They want to see you succeed and make yourself better. As I was stuck in this pandemic in the middle of my recovery time they still helped me though exercises and things I could do at home to make my recovery time faster. Today is the day I got released to go back to my sport (May 14th 2020). If I have any other injury I would not hesitate going to abilities. Every time I went to therapy I felt very welcome and knew I was going to be treated well. Thank You for everyone that worked with me and helped me through this long recovery!
