My mom and I decided to check out this local thrift store, as we walked around, the lady behind the counter stared at us the whole time. It was very uncomfortable. We then saw our favorite arcade game Galaga and asked to play it. After we played, we were going to play one more time and the lady said rudely “there’s a time limit on that, you have exactly 20 more minutes we are closing, I want to go home” The sign said open till 8 and it was a little after 4. My mom said “it isn’t bothering you is it that we are playing is it?” The lady said “well I’m not a fan, I don’t want this place turning into a hangout.” She also informed us it was for the kids to play. We felt so unwelcome and shocked about how rude she was. We love to thrift shop but will never go back to this place.
