Merrimack Valley Church

We have visited this church more than a few times in our travels to New Hampshire. You can see immediately they take care of their building. It was clean, warm and inviting. They have heartfelt and sincere Worship that includes the children (all quite friendly, happy and respectful), a clean, tidy nursery staffed with loving teachers, and happy Sunday School teachers for the children. The preaching is biblically sound and the Pastor's style is informative and engaging. If you are looking for a church that takes the Word of God seriously, this is the church for you. I felt comfortable and my family did, too. We were greeted by many friendly faces each time we came. I look forward to visiting again.

Going to this church has been so worth it! It was here that I saw the true love of God poured out on me that my heart was melted. It was here that I received sound teaching from the bible where the words came even more alive and I heard God speaking directly to me, For his Holy Spirit surely resides here. It was here that I was encouraged to grow more in the love and humility of God. It was here that I received new life and my marriage received new life--the old is dead and the new is come. It was here that I have had the biggest breakthrough and I can say that I am free. It is here that I will remain as I continue to seek the freedom of the Lord, the character of the Lord and the heart of the Lord so that his character and heart would become my character and heart and that I would look more like Him with each day.nnIf you want to know the love of God, if you want to know the word of God and His voice, If you want to know Christ and to grow in Christ, then please come to this church. It is worth it. Your life will be changed. That happens when you say yes to God. I am a product of truly saying yes to Christ with my words and my actions. If you hear something inside of you telling you that there is more to life, it is so true, and this church will guide you to the more that can only be found in Christ and the cross.

If you wonder if there is a church full of love, the truth of God and The Spirit of Jesus. If you are looking for a family of faith who are pursuing the kingdom of God. If you are spiritually thirsty for the things of the Lord, and in need of an encounter with the The Spirit, I can confidently and boldly in the Lord say that Merrimack Valley Church is that church. I am always hungry to come to church and meet the family of faith, because in the months I have been coming to this church I have received nothing else but love, truth, and encouragement. The Lord is truly attending each service at this church.

Surely, the Holy Spirit is here!nMerrimack Valley Church is a people who desire more of the Lord and are seeking Him wholeheartedly. I am one who has found life and freedom in the Lord through these pastors and this people. Truly, there are few churches where you find those who desire all of the Lord and who are willing to fight and stand for the truth...and in turn, teach others how to do the same.nI am forever changed because of this place. I am forever changed because of the Lord! Thank you, Jesus!

I am so very thankful for Merrimack Valley Church, where the truth of God is preached and lived out by the faithful believers who make up this church body. When I was seeking out answers for life, the Holy Spirit led me to this church through a friend. I did not know Jesus at that time, and I had no understanding of how the Lord operated; and I definitely did not know that it was actually possible to know God, to hear and be led of God, and to be loved by God.nnThis church is where the Lord met me, spoke to me, and saved my soul, and He has been doing a great work in my life since that time by leading me to the cross, following the very same example of the Lord Jesus Christ. For anyone who wants to be set free from the very bonds of sin and self that weigh them down to the point of utter destruction, I can truly say that the Word of God will do just that. “For whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore if the Son [of God] makes you free, you shall be free indeed” (John 8:34-36). Praise the Lord for making the Way to become a son/daughter of God Almighty – only Jesus!nnHad the Lord not brought forth His people endued with His Holy Spirit to speak forth His Word, I would have never come to the place of being a son of God, born again of His Holy Spirit. The fruit of my former life was evident of sin, for it only brought forth fear, timidity, weakness, shame, hiding in darkness, and being cut off and alone in my own head, unable to speak, to love, or to be loved. But thanks be to God for how He has changed, and continues to change, that old fruit of mine into His fruit of love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23)! I am forever grateful for my Pastors here that said “Yes” to the calling of God; to be those very people who allowed the Lord to first change their own lives, and then to become the ones who continue to speak into my life, and many others, demonstrating what it is to be a true and faithful worshipper of God. There are countless testimonies within just this body of believers alone of our faithful God making hearts new!
