Had a great time the one time I went down this river in early June. This spring fed river is unlike any I've been on before. Probably 3-4 ft deep in most spots. Wear water shoes though, the bottom is rocky. Hardly any trees or branches to steer around. Great for all ages

We are so blessed to have this emerald gem in Nebraska. So many people and stories adorn this waterway. Nebraskans will cherish any time spent on the Niobrara River or in the Niobrara River Basin. From Agate National Monument to the confluence near the town of Niobrara. The Niobrara river is a shining example of The Good Life.

I love this place! It is such a beautiful place to go to for vacation. We have a great time camping and kayaking. Go every year!
