In all honesty I called three times and got hung up on twice I’m assuming cause they heard my dog bark one time the first time I called. I asked if they had a very hard to find bottle in stock and I’m told we can’t release that info over the phone. I said okay so we have to visit to check if **** is in stock. She says well you have to speak with him. I asked who’s him, she says Bob. Okay so I said I would need to come to the store today. So Bob is in today and I could talk to him about finding/buying a bottle, told no he’s at south gate. I get you want people in your store to spend money but if you want them to spend money don’t be so short or hang up on customers. It helps if you actually pro sell it! Example: well we can’t give that info over the phone but if you come in and speak to Bob we can talk about it. He’s not currently here, he’s at south gate. He might be in on (this date). For the love of god who ever I had to talk to and pry information out of to spend money at your store needs feedback or that call to be evaluated. That’s a major steer in another direction for sales. I know my sale won’t sink your business but talk about a terrible experience before I even step foot in the store.
We initially called to check on hard to find bourbons, like many others. Mentioned info wasn't provided over the phone. Our visit turned into an awesome easter egg hunt. It was a great way to make customers feel that they're literally hunting for bourbon. Will return if I'm ever back in the area.
They have the sweetest employees. Beer, wine, liquor, seriously everything you will need. One heck of a great bourbon and wine selection! Great prices too!!!
Prices are high, and instead of implementing a point system, you must spend a large amount of cash the day-of if you want to purchase an allocated bourbon. All previous transactions are meaningless. Tough way to run business for the average consumer. They are very nice people, though.
I was less excited on my first date than I am every time I walk in here! Totally rad bourbon selection! Plus the thrill of the hunt only regulars would know about.
