Great home town place to eat. The staff is very friendly and always pleased to strike up conversation. The food is made from scratch and tastes delicious. The portions are bigger than you would expect for the reasonably priced menu they have. Service was good and food comes out pretty quick as well. If you want a great meal with good company than you can’t go wrong stopping here. A+++

We were very impressed with the food and the service. The food was hot and very well made with generous portions. The service was very friendly and helpful. This is a wonderful Nebraska hometown style restaurant and gas station located well out into the countryside but near the crossroads of 2 small highways. Even so, they are often nearly full and bustling with friendly customers who also recognize great food and service. The outside of the building appears more as a gas station and the inside is rather worn, but if you can see past this and are looking for a great little restaurant with true honest hardworking friendly staff serving great food, you have found a local gem. As a side note, they have been known to help stranded travelers during harsh winter weather, showing Nebraska kindness and generosity. Thank you, we will be back!

Good food and good service. Good lunch buffet on Wednesdays and prime rib for dinner. Generous portions at a great price. We come at least once a week.

Jerry's Hilltop is a great Mom & Pop type of restaurant and very kid friendly too. The staff is always friendly and the place is very clean. They have been here for decades and we've been coming here for years. We got to come by for a visit after many years of being away and the food was just as good as I remember. Everything you eat here is fresh, salads, veggies, and fruit are cut fresh daily, soups and pies made from scratch and we loved every bite. If you are needing a good place to eat on your trip I would highly recommend going to the hilltop, they also have a gas station and sell snacks for the road so they have everything you need.
