Refusing to care for my husband with pneumonia. The emergency room sent us here to have a follow up appointment, and refused our care. Would not reccomend this facility.

I went this morning with a cold, cough and congestion that has lasted over 3 weeks. I usually develop bronchitis or something similar once or twice a year since moving here. The female Dr. who I saw instead told me I have allergies and to start getting my asthma under control. I told her I only get asthma attacks when I'm really sick and thus why I have an inhaler. Instead of listening to my symptoms and concerns she perscribes me allergy and asthma medication. Also, she preceded to talk down to me and said her as a physician knows what is bacterial and what is viral and is trained to look for these things. This asthma medication I looked up had overwhelming negative reviews about depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts. Thus, I sought a second opinion and after a few quick test determined I have a sinus infection and strep throat and now I'm prescribed an antibiotic. To me, this Dr. was not conerned with the health of her patient as much as pushing her own agenda and harmful pharmaceuticals. A waste of time and money and put my overall health at risk.

Everyone is great from check-in, to nurses, to pediatrician! We hate the unexpected doctor visits, but are relieved knowing we are in the best hands possible! Dr. K is great!
