In July, 2020, I had surgery on both eyelids due to ptosis (droopy eyelids) done at an eye care center. Surgery was successful with much improved vision but “cosmetically” my left eye looked much better than the right eye. It bothered me whenever I looked in the mirror, but I felt I was being vain by wanting it to look better. I decided to consult Dr. Dewan. He was able to explain that there were a couple issues with my right eyelid, in addition to the ptosis. There was never any pressure from Dr. Dewan, just his willingness and promptness in answering all my questions. In February, 2021, I had the surgical improvements made to my right eye. I had a recent upper blepharoplasty from Dr. Dewan...It took me awhile to make the decision and had many questions. He was very, very patient with me. He was recommended by a friend and then I did my own research and made my decision based on his impressive credentials. I was an extremely anxious patient but the procedure itself was fairly quick and painless and he put me at ease. I have already recommended him to several friends who have been considering the procedure as well.

Dr. Dewan is a godsend! Thirty-one years ago, I underwent blepharoplasty to create creases in my eyes. The procedure was performed by a “renowned” general plastic surgeon who was highly recommended by everyone in the community. The results were devastating as my eyes were noticeably asymmetrical, with no define crease in the left eye, and a protruding droop at the right corner of the same eye. The surgeon was unable to correct the deformities despite numerous attempts. No plastic surgeons were willing to perform corrective surgery, or they took the position that my eyes could not be fixed. Then came Dr. Dewan. He exceeded my expectations! My eyes are symmetrical, the droop is gone, the creases in both eyes are beautiful, and my eyes look natural.nThe procedure took less than an hour. I had absolutely no pain or discomfort, and I only experienced minimal swelling and bruising. Dr. Dewan is a true master of his craft and is one of the best doctors to perform blepharoplasty. I wholeheartedly and without reservation recommend Dr. Dewan. He is an artist and knows exactly what to do. Thank you Dr. Dewan for giving me back my confidence!

Dr. Dewan and his staff are wonderful. When I first came to his office, I felt that I had his personal attention and didn’t feel rushed. He also went through all the outcomes and about my procedure throughly that I didn’t have any additional questions. The surgery went great and he did an awesome job! I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking for eye plastic surgery! Thanks again Dr. Dewan!!
