would NOT recommend. i went to was a softball game since i was interested, and the coach called me a fat roach and said i wasn’t “thick enough” to be on the team. i was deeply offended on the verge of tears, she continued to whip and nae nae in front of my face. i’ve never been more traumatized
Great campus, although parking is not ideal. Love the walking trails and beautiful grounds! Beaver island trail is handicap accessible from parking areas South and East of the hockey center. Also a great trail for dogs.
St Clous State isn’t too bad if you don’t care or aren’t paying out of your own pocket. The quality education is low. Lack of resource for students to succeed. Decent professors. Cleaning staffs and financial administration are great. Lacks student diversity and safety. Dorm security needs to be more secure, especially in Sherburn Hall. SCSU get most of their money from international Napel students. Student population is 80% Napel.nnHighly discourage anyone to attend. First semester/year, you’ll wish you never wasted time and money on SCSU. That’s why their graduation rate is so low (below 50%), students transfer out after attending the first semester/year. Academic Advisors are burnt out, and 1 per program with over 100 students. They don’t know what they’re talking about most of the time. Double check your transfer credits with the head professor of the actual department.
If you’re doing a technical field, this place will do the trick. Humanities is extremely hit and miss with professors either being of high quality and passionate to me not being sure if they even care enough to brush their teeth before conducting class (dramatization, I’m pretty sure most professors brush their teeth).nnThat said, if you have any interest in post graduate scholarship in the humanities, I’d seek education elsewhere like the U of M.
My son is now living in a house I use to party at in the 90's! ud83eudd23ud83eudd23
