I don’t even want to give this school 1 star. DO NOT ATTEND THIS SCHOOL. They are expensive, they are extremely unorganized. They do not work with you. They switch your schedule usually a day before you start the quarter or the first week, they expect you not to work. They’d rather you fail and spend more money than be successful. I promise any other school will be a better option. Don’t make the mistake of going to this school.

I will recommend Rasmussen College as an excellent choice for motivated and self-disciplined individuals who are looking for a fast-paced environment to get their Degree sooner. First off, I want to start by saying that Rasmussen has been my school from an Associate Degree to now Bachelor’s Degree. One advice I will give to students considering Rasmussen College would be self-motivation because it is a fast-paced environment, and you must come ready to put in the time and effort. I had my Associate degree in Brooklyn Park Campus, and there were many challenges, but I am happy that there were excellent instructors who guided me through my Degree. I am currently in the Bachelor’s Program at the St. Cloud campus for Information Technology Management. I am taking classes online, and most of the instructors are very knowledgeable and supportive. Some instructors are not as understanding or helpful, but the majority of them are supportive and would answer emails soon enough or respond to my concerns whenever I reach out. Live lectures are beneficial, and I will usually reach out to the instructor if I do not understand any topic. Rasmussen has many resources to help students, especially writing papers, scheduling for peer tutors, citation, APA formatting, etc. I was able to pass my scripting course, thanks to peer tutoring. There are many other activities within the school that one can participate in or be part of. They also have career services to help graduates with resume, certifications, job search, and more. The one person that has been so understanding, supportive, and always willing to find ways to make my experience at Rasmussen the best has been my Advisor Brittany Eidem. She walked me through my program, making adjustments along the way as needed each time I came to her for advice. Another person I will like to thank is Lancelot Davies Grant from the Brooklyn Park Campus, who has also been very supportive during this journey. Thank you, Rasmussen College!
Trying to get in contact with someone is very difficult. I did 2 terms over 3 months. I am not happy at all. The cost for tuition is over $12,000 (you need loans and will have to pay out of pocket). I dont understand why. My last instructor failed me, after I asked for help. She felt like i should have made time to sit in on a lecture that suited a time for her but was inconveniet for me. So I couldnt get help with my work (which they expect should just make sense and you should know how to do) Unless you like wasting money dont sign up with them. Worst mistake of my life. I paid 4 thousand dollars to have an instructor ignore me. Then when I complained nothing was done. You can find better programs for cheaper money. They need a major change in their program. This is my experience, and I had a horrible one with them. I DO NOT reccomend them.
The staff are friendly and very informative! They are with you each step of the way. They have been phenomenal during COVID-19 by making sure we still get the education we need!
