I only came to the store to grab a Ukulele as a present for my sister but was given much more of a personal service than expected. As I am not too familiar with music and instrument history and knowledge, any knowledge of the product I was purchasing was helpful. The owner, Joel Knutson, spent over 45 minutes talking with me about music but also many other random topics that we both were interested in. I was only buying a $50 product but he treated me as if I was purchasing a $50,000 one. If you are looking to buy an instrument from a true, down-to-earth and honest professional, Joel is the man you want to talk to. If I do ever need to buy an instrument or just get a quick history lesson on a brand or product regarding music, I will definitely be visiting Rocktown Music in St. Cloud.

I was referred here by a friend. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.nnHowever, if you order something they don't seem to give you updates very regularly (.. like at all.. none.. zip.. zilch), and they also seem to be offended if you called to ask for an update on an order. My experience would have been better if that was different. I originally rated them five stars I had to drop it due to that.

David was awesome. Prices were very reasonable. Definitely would go back. My granddaughter LOVED her pink ukulele we bought her from Rocktown Music.

Rocktown has become my go-to for musical instruments and gear, Joel and Amanda are usually there to help me out with any question i have and are super helpful. love this store can’t recommend it enough!
