Be careful of this company. I fully prepaid an entire instrument rental for my niece so she could continue her instrument training while having to being homed-schooled during the Covid crisis. Even though this instrument rental was fully prepaid before the instrument even left the store. In spite of Eckroth having received all its money, they still ran a credit check. I was in the process of purchasing my first home and their credit check resulted in the lowering of my credit rating score which has resulted in my home loan interest rate increase. The additional interest costs will be more than three times what it would have to purchase the instrument! The need to run a credit check on a fully prepaid rental it totally uncalled for. This was one of the most hideous customer service experience I have had in years. I would caution anyone to be very careful in their financial dealing with this company.

My daughters clarinet had a loose spring. They fixed it while I waited. They helped my daughter pick out the reeds she needed. They checked the instrument to see if any other work needed to be done. Since nothing else was needed they didn’t even charge me for the 5 minute fix! I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Do yourself a favor and stop by here if you need either a new instrument, or step up instrument for yourself or your child.nnI was not expecting the awesome service that I was met with and received throughout my experience at Eckroth Music. However, I believe my experience had much to do with the sales rep that helped me, Diane Laurence.nnDiane was unassuming, gracious, helpful and used no pressure throughout her sale. I visited twice with my son, played instruments and returned after considering different options. I am very pleased with the service, attention to detail and knowledge.

Very helpful staff. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is their selection of musical equipment is relatively small and their prices seem to be a bit on the high side.

They were great with me and all the littles I had to bring in with me. Super friendly and knowledgeable and they service instruments at the school so I dont have to make another trip if something happens!
