In 2003, I had Been Pursuing an IV Drug Career 2nd-to Nobody That I Knew, in a Tough Division. I had Spent 1967 - 2003 in Mostly a Dark & Quickly Darkening Place of No Hope, None. In The Short Version of My Hopeless Story was Doctor S.Swenson, MD at 713 Anderson Avenue, St Cloud, MN - RECOVERY PLUS, Who Had a DEEP MEDICAL UNDERSTANDING of ACUTE OPIATE ADDICTION & WITHDRAWAL. I had Shown No POSITIVE PROGRESS on My Own in My DEATH-DEFYING IV OPIATE ABUSE, Till My Contact With Dr S Swenson MD in 2003, 13yrs Ago. If Anyone Wants to Know How The Story Ends, You'll Have to Read My Book. Except, There is 'No Book', at This Time, but I Do Have !2yrs Sobriety to Date, Thanks to Dr S Swenson, Thanks Everybody & Thanks, Dr Swenson for Saving My Lifena la' The SUBOXONE Program!

Dr. Swenson saved my life also! I had tried SO many times to quit using opiates but simply COULD NOT stand the withdrawal. I continued using LONG after I didn't want to anymore, for that reason. Then, I first met Dr. Swenson through St. Cloud Metro Treatment Center in 2008, and then also saw him through Recovery Plus until just recently. I agree with the other reviewer in his assessment of Dr. Swenson's medical understanding. I would also add his super friendly bedside manner and his genuine interest in my life. Without him (and Suboxone), I never could have remained opiate-free since I began seeing him (and taking the medication).nSadly, he no longer works at Recovery Plus (not sure if he completely retired) and I am desperately trying to find another doctor. Even when I do find one, I know he/she probably won't be able to hold a candle to Dr. S.nI miss you already, Dr. Swenson!
