Pipestone Medical Centers' Emergency Room leaves A LOT to be desired!!!! I took a sick friend there this afternoon and could NOT get in the door to emergency department because the intercom was unmanned and NOBODY would answer the phone to let her in, knowing she was coming, because we phoned ahead!!! In the meantime she was feeling worse as time went on! I then had to take her to Luverne MN to a Sanford facility and she walked right in the door and is getting the treatment she needed in Pipestone!!!! Very, very disappointed in the staff at Pipestone! I doctor in Pipestone, but am confident I'll be changing to Luverne after this incident!! I am also disappointed that the staff doesn't answer the phones during the week very often either, and the staff is slow to respond if you leave a message, as which is often the case. Not very happy the medical center as a whole.

Was 5, would have stayed at 5, until a very rude receptionist questioned whether or not my service dog was allowed. I had already been in several times with her. PLEASE TEACH ALL STAFF BASIC ADA LAWS

I spoke to the rudest receptionist. Your number was on a website for me to call and it was supposed to go to a medical center in Newport, OR. I merely asked where this center was located to clairfy and she was extremely condescending. Thank God I don't live in Minnesota.

PCMC is one of the best medical facilities I have been to. The physicians genuinely care about my family's health. The are continually bringing the newest and innovative services available to our small community. We are fortunate to have such a great facility with awesome providers and staff!

I had my son here and it was the most amazing experience I could have had. The nurses and staff were very attentive and compassionate. They even helped me with my breathing. I was able to have a memorable and wonderful birth. I had so much energy and was in such a good state that I was able to leave 24 hours after giving birth. I will always feel welcome here and would reccomend this hospital to anyone.
