Half Price Books

The employees have always been very respectful and helpful to me. I enjoy the different assortments of items for sale. Music,, comics, movies, games of all sorts, books. I feel though they should lower their prices on video games, and other items. The book prices are decent, in comparison with other stores. I don’t recommend selling used items to them, unfortunately. You will not get much. Instead, I recommend selling on a website, or social media page.

Found just what I was looking for.

I would like to give four stars because this is a good place. The staff is friendly and work hard to help. Sadly, on my last visit, the gentleman who was assessing the stuff I brought in for an offer was trying to be everything to everyone. Each time someone new came in, he would stop looking at my materials and welcome and assist those arriving. Something that should have taken 5 minutes took nearly 30 minutes. Perhaps they are short-staffed...I'm giving benefit of the doubt. However, the other person doing the same job was focused and made offers to many customers that arrived after me. I don't want to be the impatient jerk in the room, but I was unimpressed.

Always been a great chain of stores and this one is no different. More selection than ever and so much .ore than books. Graphic novels/comics, DVDs/blurays, etc.

I was greeted promptly. The person who was giving me a value on stack of items that I wanted to sell, offered to have another clerk help carry some items from my car into the store. I appreciated the help as the books were heavy.nnMy items didn't have great value but most were older & selling them was better than throwing them away. I also donated some to Savers.
