Grew up spending 2-4 hours in a gym a day... Love being at the YMCA and feels like coming home! They are like family! Martha is an awesome lifeguard. Emily, you are pretty great as well. Mary Curry is awesome at teaching training. Love you, guys!
As nice as it is to have a gym, the hours are very inconvenient, the locker room is always gross (I think they messed up on ventilation or something) ...
First class facility with helpful and dedicated staff.
It is another great way to meet people at the sauna or jacuzzi. Gym, swimming pool, workout equipment and workout groups.
Not a member of the YMCA:nnNeeded a place for the kids to swim during our vacation to Grand Marais. This community Y was the perfect albeit only option.nThe water was warm, crystal clear and my skin can attest to the proper pH levels. Over the 3 days we used the pool, the water temp was between 84-85 degrees.nnThey have varying hours for when the slide is turned on, so check online.nnLocker facilities were clean and all the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.
