Merit Preparatory Academy

This school sucks so much tbh it has to much drama and the teachers are so horrible!

I have had the greatest experience with Merit. The teachers are very willing to reach out and communicate with parents. My boys love the school. There are so many opportunities to do things that they would be passed over on, by a larger school. The Drama department is phenomenal and literally saved one of my boys. He found his Mitch and felt he belonged. He had struggled until his tenth grade year with math and at Merit, the teachers in the math department completely changed his understanding and outlook about math.

My daughter is in 8th grade at this school. It has been so wonderful for her! The teachers/ administrators and unique classes are just amazing! Super small class sizes, anywhere from 8 students to 20. My daughter absolutely loves going to this school and it has really brought out her talents and intellect. I recommend this school to anyone looking to go to a good college afterward and truly get a good education. If you are looking to play sports and be cool, go somewhere else! LOL

Love this school. We came from a large school in Davis County and our son was suffocating in the crowds. The smaller more personal school has been wonderful. Our son has really done so much better here and is happier. We love all the changes they have made in the administration and the staff. Everyone has been so kind to us.

Great teachers and great principal. Their curriculum is one of the best in the valley. Some of the students may not like the discipline here because the teachers push students to aim for excellence, and not settle for average.
