Try the soup! A charming little tea shop decorated with tea cups--even on the chandeliers! The servers have always been warm and friendly, and the tea tastes great. Many items come with a cheddar muffin with dill butter (both fabulous), but my favorite are the soups. The soup is never the same twice but always amazing. Our server told us that the chef making their soups is always experimenting. They also serve a variety of scones, select pastries, and English lunches.
Superb food, excellent staff. A real must for those looking for a good English afternoon tea and all its trimmings!
I have been going to the tea room for many years the service is great the atmosphere is cozy and traditional and the food is wonderful especially their homemade soups.
Ladies and gents, this is a a favorite place to go for tea and lunch or tea and scones. The atmosphere is charming and cozy. Loved our waiter! He was extremely helpful and fun. The food was delicious. I especially liked my strawberry cream cheese tea sandwich on cinnamon bread and the cream of broccoli soup. Will be back!
We had a reservation and still had to wait 40 minutes. Once seated, the server did not even look our way. Over 15 minutes later, I had to wildly wave both arms in the air to get her to acknowledge our table. When she brought out the food on a center trivet and was about to leave us with not even a plate to eat off of on the table, I really wondered what on earth! She had not noticed and wiuld not have if we did not point it out to her. She just was not present and totally should not have been working this day. Food was ok. Sure will not be going back.
