This is an amazing company. For years I wanted to learn how to fly and I finally bit the bullet and found Lapeer Flight Training. I quickly signed up for a discovery flight and got to experience flying first hand. I was hooked. So I signed up for a ground class and finished that in February. Now I'm just racking up my flight hours with my instructor Chris. I couldn't have picked a better company. If you are even a tiny bit interested in experiencing what flying a plane is like, give these guys a call and they will be more then happy to help! Keep up the fantastic work gentleman.

Steve doesn't even bother to learn your name in class. This is a challenge to the current students in class now. Ask him if he knows your name?nIf you do manage to complete the class, he doesn't have the instructors for you to go further. I waited two months for an opening, and was very patient. The CFI, (Ben) I was assigned completely blew me off, would NOT answer my texts or any requests for flight time. The owner was and is completely aware of this problem. I did give them a lot of leeway, thinking that maybe it was a temporary thing. He really doesn't care, just wants your money. It was a dream of mine for a long time to learn to fly. This experience has really put a damper on the whole dream of that. Find someone else to teach you to fly IF POSSIBLE. If I could give it a zero I would.nUp date: They changed the name of the flight school and moved to Caro.nAlso, I think its strange that they never replied to my complaint. Steve never said, there might have been a misunderstanding. I still have texts begging for someone to call me to set up flight time. I tried to set it up on line, but was told, no you can't do that.nThe CFI needs to do that.nHolding classes for people with the dream of flight and not having the capability to provide actual flight time is morally wrong.nTo blow a student off like that isn't how to teach anyone.
