Dolares Baran DDS

Dr.Baran is the best dentist I have ever visited. She has done all of my cosmetic work and multiple crowns. My teeth have never looked better. I love that I leave with a crown on the same day as my appointment. She always accommodates my busy schedule. Her staff is so attentive. They always do a great job at making me feel comfortable while I am in the chair. Her office accepts my insurance and I have never had an issue. I absolutely recommend Dr.Barans office if you are looking for a new dentist. She is wonderful.

I wish I had seen the negative reviews before coming here. I agree with all of them and feel disgusted with the wanting to upsell and only wanting money. The front office staff is nice but the dentist appears to only be out for money.nnI have a very slight overbite and slight gaps between only 6 of my teeth. My bottom teeth have no gaps. I called and was told it could be anywhere between $2500-$5000 for fast braces (for everyone). Dr. Baran wanted me to get veneers for 6 teeth at $2500 a piece (based on the response I was going to be overcharged on those too). I’m not sure if she was trying to get me to get the veneers or upcharge me but the cost was quoted at $5000 for the braces when she agreed I had a very slight overbite. She even showed me a severe case and told me my teeth were nothing like it and my teeth would be easy.nnOrthodontists charge less than this (I had a quote already) and she’s not an orthodontist. I really don’t like being taken advantage of and paid for an expensive consultation ($272 for X-rays and for her to talk to me for about 5 minutes- if that is thorough that is beyond me). Yes, I was informed it would be that cost for evaluation but not told to expect $5000 for a basic fix.nnI am hoping I save anyone wasted time and money going there. There are many reputable dentists that will give an actual thorough evaluation for free and not overcharge.

Dr. Baran has been my family's trusted dentist for some time now, i hadn't seen her in several years due to not living in the area/insurance changes. However i recently broke a tooth (watch out for popcorn kernels) and after not being able to get an appointment with any of the local clinics for at least a month I decided to call her up and explain the situation. She was able to squeeze me in for an evaluation the next day and then for treatment two days after that!nnUnlike some other dentists i've seen in the past i never felt like Dr. Baran was trying to up-sell me on treatments that i didn't need. She laid out all my options in plain english, was receptive to my concerns and didn't try to unnecessarily push me in the direction of the more expensive treatment options.nnShe works fast and has a soothing, almost motherly bed side manner that will put your anxieties at ease. Her staff is very friendly and fun to talk to as well.nnThe facilities are nice and comfortable (you can watch TV while you're being worked on) and it seemed as though they were doing all they can to reduce the risk of the spread of covid.nnI will definitely be coming back for any dental work i might need in the future and would recommend you do the same.

Horrible. Not a member of ADA (not accountable), huffy as others have noted, takes customers to court when she’s at fault, wants patients to get procedures they don’t need, and overcharges.

I have gone to Dr. Baran’s office for over a year now. I see Melissa Conley because she is in my network. I have never had a copay but was told by Dr. Baran when I was sitting in the chair after I got my cleaning still waiting for my exam that there will be a copay today. She explained that the front desk had overlooked my copay and it was to my advantage. She explained that if I leave her practice and go to a PPO practice that those dentists are mean and not as thorough. She also asked if she could do my exam that day instead of Dr Conley and that it would cost more. I said No, and she left the room, huffing. She wore no face shield and was coughing. I left there feeling a little agitated and immediately looking for a new dentist.
