Caitlin from Wild Folk Salon is truly a master! She’s able to take my wild, wavy, unruly hair and turn it into something out of a magazine. She’s so easy to talk to and makes the whole experience seem like you’re just hanging out with a good friend. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and talented, and you can tell she’s passionate about her work. She did a fantastic job giving me the blonde hair of my dreams and cutting my hair in a way that works with my texture and day to day style. Her space is so cozy and inclusive, too! And the smell of the (mostly natural and ethically sourced) products she uses are HEAVENLY. I can’t recommend Caitlin enough!!
Caitlin is incredible, she takes her time and really listens and cares for your individual hair needs and expectations and has always delivered. She gives the best shampoos, every time I want to fall asleep! The space is small and intimate but not noisy and overwhelming like some other salons can be. Caitlin did a great job caring for my curls! I’ve recently started embracing the “curly girl method” and was so happy to find someone in the Detroit area that understands textured hair (in all its varieties!). I had a great experience with Caitlin and am super happy with my cut! While social distancing I've been keeping a list of things I want to do when things are back to normal and seeing Caitlin is at the top. The conversation is always chill, I always leave with a boost of self a steam and feeling recharged. Her head message during the shampoo is magic and I look forward to having this experience again and again.nnBefore meeting Caitlin, I got my hair cut maybe once a year and it was honestly a chore. Now I go probably 3-4 times a year and I look forward to it every time because I've never been disappointed. Thankful I finally met a stylist who loves my curls as much as me, and helps educate me on ways to care for them in between visits. Five freaking stars all around.
