Nice trails, clean. A well managed park compared to many others. Day use area can get very crowded. We got charged by an aggressive dog there so be aware people don't always control their dogs. Campground is well laid out with convenient overflow parking so the sites don't look quite as much like a parking lot as other parks. Be aware however, quiet time rules are not enforced, people partying into the night, lots of dogs left alone barking all day, or even worse -allowed to nuisance bark even with owners on site. We did not use the bathrooms as practically no one wore masks in the buildings and some were rude to those few that were wearing them. The staff was clearly working hard, just some people there seemed really self-centered and selfish and didn't care if they ruined the camping experience for others.

Amazing lake. So clean and clear. Best place to swim within a lot of miles.

One of the all time jewels in the State of Michigan. I bring my family here every summer and we always have a great time. It is just a peaceful place that provides a lot of activities.

Lake and trails are beautiful. Campsites were packed with ATVs and big campers, but lots of shade, and surprisingly not overly noisey.nI enjoyed the CCC display in the picnic pavilion in the day use section.
