My mom died in December 2020, she had two life insurance policies back in my hometown of Ludington through Erin Doan’s State Farm’s agency. I was shocked when Erin offered to drive over an hour to hand deliver the checks to me. Months later when I became dissatisfied with my lifelong insurance carrier, I immediately thought of Erin. Customer service is the willingness to drive an hour to deliver a check to someone he had never meet and would likely never see again. Although I no longer live in Mason County, I knew that was someone I wanted to do business with. Erin, and my agent Matt have made my families transition to State Farm easy. Highly recommend.

I find it difficult to put into words how extremely frustrated I am with this insurance agency, but will give it a shot.nnI switched to this insurance agency because I initially was saving $100 a month. However, on the fourth month of the plan I was notified that I no longer qualified for the initial plan and had to switch plans, the new one costing about $20 more. This wasn't a massive issue, but they charged me $420 for that month's insurance, rather than the new $167 cost, claiming that the additional costs was backpay. This seemed extremely high, and was, but they assured me that the cost would go down to $167 after that payment. The next month, rather than it going down to $167, I was billed $219. I called again and they once again told me that it was backpay but would go down to $167. The next month, the same thing happened with the same prices. This month I checked my bill and it's $187 which is, needless to say, still not $167. I called and this time they told me that after one more payment I will go down to $169.nnI'm a college student getting the literal state minimum plan because I can't afford decent coverage, yet they still found it acceptable to lie to me each month and add this financial burden. I am incredibly frustrated and would not recommend this insurance agency to anybody.

Very professional business but also treats you like family. They gave me a great deal on home and auto insurance and they gave me a call to just thank me for insuring with them. I’ve never had a business do that before. 5 stars well deserved ud83dudc4dud83cudffc
