As a real estate investor my business requires a title company who understands complicated transactions. After many closings with Michigan Investment Title I'm happy to report they are not only investor friendly...but investor focused! If you are a real estate investor buying properties anywhere in Michigan, I highly recommend Michigan Investment Title and their team.

This was the buyers title company “of choice”. I am sure the realtor has a share or receives compensation for using them. That said when my buyer’s title company asked questions they were never answered in a timely manner or ignored completely. The title company, because it was convenient to them - according to the agent - changed the closing date. No one from their office ever informed the sellers title company, their agent, or the seller, and they never responded to repeated requests for confirmation of the buyers closing day/time. Additionally the title company changed all the information regarding the buyers - how title was taken, address, signing location etc, after hours, while the closing date was still in contention. This lack of professionalism was received at 4:45pm on a Friday, when the doc prep person sent an email saying the prorated date was incorrect, for a Monday am closing. (Docs had been sent to them early that day - no response from anyone)nnICING ON THE CAKE - I am on the phone with Taylor demanding answers - 4:58pm. She says her manger Wendy is on the phone but will call me right back. It is now 11:00pm. Not one call from this company.nnIf you want a professional title company this is not it.

From the moment I walked through the door, I was treated like a peasant. There was no hello, or even a look upon my way as I entered the office. This woman that worked there, Erika, was a monster. She told me “I don’t appreciate you kids wasting me and my husbands time. Go away” all because I had rainbow colored hair. Talk about hiding a book by their cover! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!
