Desk staff was knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. The new building is very clean and organized. Will refer friends to go there in a heartbeat!

I made a mistake and left my library card at home and asked the Librarian was it possible if she could pull my information up in the system to prove that I do have one. Very rudely she says I need your ID. On the front of my ID I have my physical address, and on the back is my mailing address. She immediately says I can't use the ID because it has Detroit on the back. I tried to explain to her the situation and she continued to say that I can't use their computers. I told the Librarian I was not there to use the computers in a very polite manner and she simply gave my card back as if she did not want to hear anything else. She refused to even look me up in the system. I think that was very rude and disrespectful. I am trying to utilize the library to assist my daughter with a book report and would've even copied the pages, but instead of servicing me she was a disservice not to just me but my daughter as well. I believe they need to be trained on customer service because it was one of the worst experiences I had by far.
