Very nice surprise- 10 mile route - uphill from millington - straight shot with a few streams etc. we parked at millington and headed south . Ate at a nice little family restaurant at the end of the trail.

This is just one of the many great bike trails we have here on southern MI. This one happens to be close by only 24 miles away with 10 feet wide bike path from Columbiaville to Millington, MI. Round trip is 20 miles unless you decide to ride into Millington to get a bite to eat. The trail is partly shaded with plenary of rest stops along the way. It can be busy on the weekends and there are areas you do have to cross a couple busy highway’s.

Great trail. Not crowded. Well maintained. Cross walls are well guarded for safe crossings. Very peaceful ride.

Not Ok. Was sorta our favorite trail for a long time, and is scenic. However, the trail conditions (i.e. rough pavement) is getting really bad north of Otter Lake. If on a high tire pressure road bike, it'll jar your neck, back and wrists on some spots. And, to add to it, more towards Millington the asphalt has been torn up and replaced with gravel in a multitude of locations, causing great hazard for skinny tire bikes - this is dangerous. I realize those managing the maintenance may be doing the best they can, but to tear it up for so long before repaving seems like poor planning. The few sections now repaved are too rough for pleasant biking, and I can only hope it'll be further top coated. Unfortunately we're going to avoid this trail for now, in effort to avoid the hazards!nNote: The trail from Otter Lake to Columbiaville is fairly smooth.
