TPH community is amazing! Children are prepared for the real world and gain a sense of who they are in Christ. Teachers go above and beyond the call of duty in many situations. So many great things happening at TPH and I’m glad to be part of it. Please keep all of the children in your prayers over the summer break.
The school is like a alternative high school for kids who get expelled or can't thrive in a public school. There is no clear policy against bullying. They are not an accredited high school. They falsely claimed to be accredited high school in 2011. I called accreditation for Michigan public schools. They confirmed that potters house was not an accredited high school. The school is lacking in the arts. My child switched to a different school during her high school years and was way behind because of her previous education at potters house. It was very difficult for her to catch up her senior year. I would never recommend this school.
Great students. Very nice facilities and a brand new gym. Faculty are all very nice and the schools is a real gem.
Love this school. The parents, students and staff are exceptional.
This school is very cramped. There are some repairs that have been needed for quite awhile. They claim to have the sufficient funding for it, yet have not begun them. They claimed that we would have a new building by the end of the current seniors sophomore or junior year, and they are just beginning it at the end of this year. The students are very set in their cliques and not very welcoming to new students. The school does not help students if bullying is reported. The old principal would make dirty jokes, and some of the teachers are not very understanding. It was not a great experience, I have had better in a public school. I have spoken to some other alumni, and they agree with me. They expect you to act like robots, and they believe that you have no lives. Their Chromebook policy is like a prison, you have NO PRIVACY WHATSOEVER. The teacher is able to go on your computer at any time and do whatever they want. We were not told of this when we signed up for this. I feel like I am in the book 1984, and its very uncomfortable. I will be glad when I am done with this school, and I will NOT recommend this school to anyone I know.
