There is no great way to walk through the divorce process, but there is another way that is done with kindness, love, and empathy. Mediation allowed me and my ex-spouse to put our children first. Deb kept reminding us of the bigger picture.

Meetings were disorganized. Often both of us would ask each other do, you know what is going to happen this next meeting? If we did know the plan, it would change during the meetings. At one point we spent a couple hours going through paperwork and at the end both parties were confused because the tally sheet was not at all clear which would have changed our discussions during that meeting. But time was up so we were still charged hourly and walked out that day frustrated and unhappy with the process. Once we were to the point of finalizing the mediation paperwork it took both parties and our attorneys reaching out several times over many weeks to finally hear back so we could be done with the mediated paperwork. In the end the paperwork was not used by recommendation of one of our attorneys. When we did hear from the mediator she had been ignoring emails and indicated multiple times she charges hourly so was ignoring them until we were actually ready to be charged more. I would not recommend the firm from my experience. Beyond the poor and disorganized communication which I wouldn't have expected from a firm specializing in mediation it was clear profit is more important than service.

Came to this office because of a referral, however I wish I would have went elsewhere. I experienced poor communication overall, repetitive discussions on the same topics, did not have the guidance I had felt was discussed at the consultation meeting, and the only timely matters happened to be the invoices that continued to go over budget. I understand the benefits of utilizing an attorney and the price that goes with it, but I was just let down with this office.
