LOVE this library. Ive been going since a kid and they know how to deliver. Great computer access, book selection, and services they offer like yoga classes, teen groups, book clubs - there have little groups for any type of person. They are really of great service i HIGHLY RECOMMEND visiting
I love the Ridgway Memorial Library! The staff is friendly and helpful. I have used their event room several times and it's always an easy, convenient experience. They also host programs for all different types of people in the community, from reading groups for children to different skills training for adults. They also do a lot of community service work, such as collecting clothes and items for those in need, and offering a delivery service for people who are homebound! How lucky we are to have such a great facility in Shepherdsville!
I went to this library on a Saturday with my family. I walked away from from my kids in the kid area for 5 minutes, I come back to the security guard asking my daughter where her parents where. When he saw me he said he was making sure somebody was here with them. 5 minutes later he came and told me we are too loud. So I dropped everything we had right there at left. My kids was crying and upset that they did not get to check out their books or play with the toys the library provided. I went straight to Mt. Washington branch library where we are treated with respect. If you have 2 or more kids with you I wouldn't go to Ridgway where you would be treated as a problem.
The staff at the Library are so helpful!
This is a great library! The staff is nice, polite, courteous, and respectful! This library has a great book area for kids! They have an area of computers you can use for anything.
