Amazing library system! I am always able to get the books I need and usually get new releases within a couple of weeks. The staff are helpful and the library is always clean. Self check out is quick and easy. They are the reason I average about 100 books read each year!
I've only been here a few times but it has a small library feel, small town, everybody's friendly atmosphere smiles offering to help you find something. The patrons are very friendly here as well smiles all around. Everything feels updated and clean. Moms with their kids come here throughout the day, people of all ages, elderly middle-aged , etc. I think anyone would enjoy coming to this branch. I wonder if it's because we're in the town of Byron Center. People often say it's the people that make the town great.
KDL Byron Center has a great area for little kids to play with a door, which makes it easier for parents to contain their kids. They have a great activities for kids and adults only (henna was so fun)! KDL always has what I'm looking for and accepts my requests if they don't. I especially love using the online rental apps and Consumer Reports online. The also have fantastic kid crafts.
I've lived in eleven US states and have always frequented the local library. This is by far the best to which I've ever belonged. The on-line content and scope of the available resources is amazing. The librarians are friendly and helpful. My wife regularly takes our grandchildren there. They love it as well. Coupled with Overdrive (soon to me CloudLibrary), our Byron Center branch could not provide better service to our community.
