Henry Ford Allegiance Family Medicine - Spring Arbor

I just moved here from WA state and needed to set up medical care here quickly for several issues. Changing doctors after 25 years was causing me alot of stress and anxiety. I called and received an appointment within a few days. First, my wait time was only a few minutes. During my visit, every staff member I came in contact with was extremely nice, professional. They listened to what I had to say, without interruption, they explained everything and did not try to rush me through my appointment. I received top notch care, plus felt very comfortable speaking to the staff, which is extremely important to me.

I went to the Doctor because o thought I had shingles and Sabrina confirmed I did. Obviously she had never had shingles because she wasn't very understanding about the pain. I called after taking all of the medicine in 7 days and am worse now than I was then and was originally to that they probably wouldn't be able to get the prescription to the pharmacy that day which was Friday. I told them I could not survive the weekend without the pills. They weren't even a pain pill. They did get the script to the pharmacy at the end of their day. I feel the just don't care.

I, and my family, have been very pleased with the level of service and professionality provided by the Spring Arbor Henry Ford Allegiance Family Medicine location. They are very responsive to my calls and my online questions and requests on the MyChart system. It is a one-stop clinic, where I can get my lab work done and x-rays, when I need them. The doctors are very caring and responsive to my medical needs.

Dr. Joel Miller is a JOKE. I have been at this office my ENTIRE life and SUFFER from chronic migraines and severe anxiety. I can NOT wear a mask because it triggers both medical issues and this sad excuse of a doctor wont even write me a note so I wont be heckled at other doctors ofdices for bot wearing one (last time I was given a problem I had a panic attack). Let me remind you I also don't get any results from him for my anxiety, depression, migraines or chronic back pain and now he can't even write note. A spineless coward and a pard of the herd. Shameful.

The nurses are amazing but the Drs seem to fall short of any expectations one would have when they think of going into Henry Ford HealthSystem affiliate from what I’ve experienced. This being the 3rd different office I’ve visited all leading to similar work ethics (well lack there of) the drs aren’t here to properly care for the patients.nnMoving here from a different state and having extensive medical documentation in hand and on disk ready to establish care and a fundamental relationship with my new provider. One would think that the continuance of care would be no big deal...nnWithin the past year I’ve had doctors drastically switch and alter medication some without ever speaking with me prior or making me knowledgeable of “their” current plan and personal “feeling” on my current regime and what I’ve undergone. (Well let’s also keep in mind that all these drs are able to pick and choose what they find important to my care from my medical folder [umm wouldn’t everting involving myself in any way be important to my care? Wouldn’t you take previous providers and pain management drs notes and information into consideration? Would you call them to touch base and maybe set up a conference to get the rundown on your new patient?] so not only can they do all that, but they can also alter previous imaging and labs as to make it seem that those aren’t apart of my care cuz there improperly labeled, etc..)nnThe good news or I guess the news I hold onto is that my previous providers were on a military installation and I’m pretty sure they weren’t lying about my care in turn costing my then INSURANCE more money to treat me if there is in fact NOTHING wrong as the New provider and other 2 in this state have mentioned... yet I get second opinions that confirm my chart and images and diagnosis have been altered and changed to conform to what these drs think and feel all while they tell me it was all in my head and unnecessary.. i’m sorry but nobody unnecessarily gets a 20 gauge needle inserted into their spine and medication injected into the spinal free space, nor would they get an 18 gauge electrode needle to have their nerves cauterized… Which was all approved by my previous insurance with documentation as to why I needed set procedures, with additional imaging and dictations to back up the request for treatment...
