Good day. Yes, I am a patient as well as a provider at this office. I recently joined the office as a provided, but have been a patient for over 4 years. I appreciate Dr. Aboubakr and his honesty and directness. He has a caring heart, however, it is knowledge, expertise and consistency that gave me the desire to work for him. I appreciate the fact that the office staff has been a moving target and has been frustrating for me as a patient but as in life change is the only constant. Thank you to Capital Area Pulmonology Associates for treating me and accepting me as a provider.

I feel very fortunate to be their patient. I have always been treated with respect and I have complete trust in them. My insurance prescription coverage may change yearly and they have engaged in many battles in my behalf. Thank you Capitol Area Pulmonary for all you do for me.

As has been said previously the office staff is lovely and amazing. Unfortunately the doctor couldn't care less. If you have declined in health since you got there you obviously are wrong and so go somewhere else. If you have questions about the treatment go somewhere else. If you haven't improved by the mere presence of Dr. Aboubaker then obviously there is something wrong with you so do whatever you want - he has no guidance for medical care, no suggestions, no advice just go somewhere else if you are not perfectly healthy. At the first visit he does not ask how are you but merely tells you how great he is. As a medical professional I am embarassed by his lack of caring and ego. You would be better off asking the housekeeping staff for advice.

Dr. Aboubakr is an extremely caring and attentive Doctor. He was able to find the diagnosis that so many other Doctors' missed. His knowledge and compassion for what he does makes him an obvious choice when looking for a specialist in his field.
