Huron County Friend-The Court

I have been dealing with this office as a payer for over 10 years and have had very good experiences with them I have been able to clear up most issues with just a phone call. Every person I have dealt with in that office has been courteous even when I wasn't...I highly recommend if you are a payer in the county that has fallen behind that you call the enforcement dept ANF talk to mitch he's real easy going ... There is most likely some arrangement that can be made. Friend of the court is an enforcement agency all they do is enforce the judges order if you are not Happy with the order file a motion to change it.... Arguing with foc about your past due support is like arguing with a collection agency about a medical bill they have no control they were just hired to collect the balance.......

Incompetence seems to run strongly within this, and really every office within the Huron Family Division. I’m not sure where the general lack of common sense comes from, but is quite apparent when calculations crucial to your life style and general well being are frauded by inaccurate variables, that they are solely responsible for obtaining. Also communication between the courts and “friend” of the court is a joke. I have personally witnessed MAJOR translation alteration of MAJORLY IMPORTANT information. Lastly, it is SEVERELY alarming when a judge forgets parts of a case and enters flawed judgements. Sadly this is a recurring theme within the entire Huron courts, some areas worse than others. If morality issues weren’t in play, you can bet I would be 1000 miles away from this trash can of a county. Negative 5 stars.

WARNING!!!! DO NOT EXPECT ANY HELP FROM THESE SO CALLED PEOPLE, They will stick it to you from all sides, they are lazy and do not give any impression of wanting to do their jobs, and when you almost have to force them to take some sort of action, then your the piece o crap, because you need them to do something that resembles work of some sort. And if your the one who has to pay support be prepared to bend over and grab your ankles, and say goodbye to your kids , because they will make sure you never get to see them again, trust me here, i speak from very first hand experience, and none of the experiences from this office are in any way FRIENDLY. they should be called FRIENEMIES OF THE COURT, because they are your enemy, for sure not your friend.
