My fiancé and I have visited Hickory Creek numerous times and always enjoy our visit. Our first experience we were served by an individual who was highly knowledgeable and even told us how different batches of wine (same variety of grape and same year) were from two separate fields and the affect that had on the flavor! If you are looking for a knowledgeable staff with an intimate feel to the specifics of their bottles of wine, this is the place. They take pride in being a smaller winery and spending more time on the specifics of their wine, and I appreciate that. Additionally, I believe that most of their wine is from grapes specifically grown in the Southwest Michigan region, making sure that your wine tasting is authentic to their renowned area. As mentioned in other comments, since they are a smaller winery, they are not necessarily prepared for large influxes of people, so plan your trip accordingly. We have always visited on weekdays and enjoyed the personal and accommodating service we have received. Will definitely continue to visit and enjoy Hickory Creek wine!

Hickory Creek was the best! Making a reservation meant a private group wine tasting inside. The owner and staff were very fun, personable, and served all excellent wines! Definitely recommend a visit!

I just spent the last two hours with my team at work doing a virtual wine tasting with the owner at Hickory Creek and it was phenomenal. I had not done anything like this in the past and the experience surpassed all of my expectations. If you have a work-related event/meeting or want to do something fun with friends or family, virtually, I would absolutely recommend utilizing Hickory Creek! I hope to visit them soon in-person, but this was such an amazing experience and loved every moment!

I love how small & intimate it is. The gentlemen I’ve encountered here were extremely hospitable. The wine is so good!!!nI would highly recommend this...tho there are many more ‘hyped’ ones to try...

Adam has a great wealth of knowledge. He is very welcoming. The Syrah is bold and complex and Rose was unique and delightful. Definitely must stop in when your in town!
