I wouldn't recommend the Delta bookstore to anybody. Not only can you find almost all of their books cheaper elsewhere, but you can get more back from selling them to chegg than Delta's buyback program. Everything else is heavily priced up. I feel bad for anybody forced to buy a book written buy the delta faculty because those books are usually heavily priced as well. You can really tell the college is worried about money and profit. Im not even going to start about the online services either.

If I could get this place zero stars I would especially after the three days that I had to deal with I’m trying to return an online book. My boyfriend and I had ordered our books couple weeks in Advance due to that we moved in together. Sadly we had lost the original receipts that came in the packages. My boyfriend received his online book in a brown paper bag with a sticker that had a barcode with the correct name of the author and book number that he needed. He then opened the brown paper bag and revealed but it was the wrong book. Luckily we have a screenshot from when we ordered it and we have the email that confirmed our purchase. My boyfriend gave me his delta ID and the card he’s used it on. I went to the bookstore to return it and the cashier direct me to David. He would not return it due to the paper bag being open however the sticker that actually keeps the little booklet closed was still on it and sealed. Said he had an issue with another student about this and he will not deal with us until he hears from the teacher. I went home We emailed the teacher and the teacher herself was having issues with the bookstore on returning the online book. The following day we got the okay to return it. I come back to return it with all my previous papers and now with the print out of the teachers emails. The cashier then takes me back to David. Who again refuses my return because I don’t have the actual printed receipts that came in the box. Regardless of having the screenshot of the online receipt. He then tells me I can bring in a bank statement ( which to made me uncomfortable to show someone my bank information) I explained I can not do that I’m just trying to return this for my boyfriend while he is at work. I do not have access to his information. He shrugged at me and I left again unhappy. David who seems to be a manager really lacks in communication and customer service skills. With all the information I had he really wouldn’t help me find a solution! My boyfriend and I came back the next day forcing him to have to miss work. Just to have David look at his bank statement for 2 seconds to be able to finally return the book!

Some of the staff weren't very helpful and were kinda rude but the rest of the staff were very pleasant. Everything was organized and looked nice. The only thing is if you are paying with anything but financial aid then get your materials and books elsewhere. It will definitely be alot cheaper.

People are helpful book books cost too much, buy online If You can...or get ebook
