Trinity Episcopal Church is a very nice looking structure. I'm not positive about the dates, but believe the current building dates from the late 1800s. While roaming around one day, taking photographs, I noticed they were having a bake/rummage sale. I thought maybe that might be a way of contacting someone about possibly getting inside and taking interior photographs. The secretary contacted a person who was helping with their sale - and it happened that he was the Church historian. He gladly offered to give a tour. I learned many details about both the building, it's windows, the congregation in general, as well as finding out he was friends with a co-worker.nThe roof is made out of wood. There are many nice looking stained glass windows throughout the structure. The Altar area had some very nice woodwork. There is even a 'crypt' (I forget the actual term for it), accessed from just inside the front entrance. The exterior of the building itself is very nice. It's sometimes difficult trying to get good photographs, mainly because it's located along one of the busier city streets (Center Avenue). Still, I believe it's well worth the effort.nIf you are looking for a nice historical structure in the area, as well as some very friendly people, I would highly recommend this.

Over 150 year old Episcopal Church on Center Avenue in Bay City. Very family oriented with Sunday School available at Sunday mass. Beautiful oak interior, stained glass windows and organ with choir add to the atmosphere of gravitas this old building carries. Reverend and congregation are very welcoming and friendly. Choir and organist are amazing and work well together. Trinity works with other parishes (all denominations) putting on Food of Faith to feed the hungry every Sunday. Many programs occur here throughout the year. Church is active and attempting to grow. Church is on Facebook for further details.
