Acqua In Vino

This is a lengthy review, but I promise you won't be sorry you read it!nnWe attended Acqua In Vino's Friday night tasting event for our first time this past Friday, and it did not disappoint! We were SO glad we finally got uptown to try this amazing place. Arny & his staff were so very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating and they gave us quite an education on all of the food and drink that we sampled as well as any other products they carry in the store that we had questions about.nnWe received a sampling of award-winning cheeses, incredible meats, and tasty bread; a delicious pasta & sauce with meatballs; and the most amazing toffee for a perfect finish...each accompanied by a 2 oz. pour of a delicious wine or craft beer (your choice). Whether you're looking for a date night idea or a fun ladies/guys night out, or you would like to be educated on any of the items offered on a particular Friday night event, we highly recommend this weekly event to anyone and everyone!nnThe quality of products they carry is truly top-notch. They have pastas, sauces, any & every kind of cheese you could ever want or need, many different types of meats--just to name a few...salami, prosciutto, Canadian bacon, sausage, meatballs that are fully cooked & ready to be added to your favorite dish, chocolates, toffees, teas, coffees, jellies, spreads, gift items...even homemade treats for your dog! And if you love Cherry Republic (like I do), this is your hometown connection--yasss! And, of course, a very extensive collection of amazing wines from every grape and region, and craft beers as well. Seriously, SO MUCH to offer! I couldn't possibly list everything here.nnAnd I cannot emphasize enough the warm personalities of Arny and his staff and the wonderful conversation we enjoyed while there. If you appreciate personalized service, reasonable pricing, and the benefit of having your very own vitner, meat expert, cheese specialist, and all-around grocer extraordinaire, go introduce yourself to Acqua In Vino... definitely one of Wayland's biggest assets!

Best place around, owner is very knowledgeable about beer and wine. They also have layafette creamery ice cream which is awesome! Highly recommend
