Alamo Theatre

Must visit! Before the movie they show old personal home movies of Maine back in the day. It was packed last night! They brought in at least 30 extra chairs. People from all over come. I met a nice lady from Brooklin. People socialize before the movie which is nice to meet new people. The people that work there are so friendly and helpful. What a great belated Valentine's night out on the town. This is what a local business, community looks like. The movie was great as well!

This is an awesome to place to go. Very smart people here and they work hard for you. I would recommend this place.

This is a great theater. I do wish they played recent movies now often.

Beautifully maintained small theater. Usually is half filled. They also have a collection of historic cameras and old movie posters, which really helps set the mood of the space. It's very clean and young kids love to put their feet on the lip of the stage in the front row. Locally owned and good prices.

Very nice and clean. Good concessions. Has a nice community atmisphere and I love their mission -preserving old footage related to the heritage of the area. I give it 5 stars. It's not a regular cinema and you won't get every new movie coming out but that's not its intent.
