After a year of virtual church due to covid concerns, we were finally able to attend a live Easter Service this past weekend. Everything went well until the very end. Masks were worn by most everyone and the rows were properly spaced for safety. Great experience thus far, but then it's time to leave. At this point, Heartland restricts the departure from the auditorium and then the building to a single exit. So 100's of people are forced into close quarters for several minutes. Needless to say their exit strategy needs to be addressed. Use the large space you have and the many exits to your advantage.

It was such a great church but without Mike Breaux and Josh Peigh it feels completely empty.

I've attended this church with my spouse for 15+ years. When our kids were born, we had them both dedicated here with Pastor Doug. Our oldest attends the Middle School program on Weds now and our youngest still goes to Carbon. I appreciate how the outside area has seating where you can eat and drink and listen to the sermon if you don't choose to sit in the Atrium. I am hard of hearing and with my hearing aid the main Atrium can at times be too loud for me so I have a comfy spot outside in the hall and I love that. I have met several life long friends at Heartland and we bonded with our Team World Vision m as marathon run. I do miss Mike Breaux and Josh Peigh, I am not yet familiar with our new Lead Pastor, I was/am hoping for someone who is diverse enough to lead a diverse community. We will see if this new Pastor fits the bill.

This is a nice Church. People are very friendly and welcoming! They have places to get drinks out in the foyer which is nice. I like that it was a more Contemporary Service which I had never been to before. I went with my son and daughter-in-law on Easter and it was really nice. I could really appreciate the message they were getting a crossed and enjoyed the music and singing as well. I would definitely go there again. I liked that they had Saturday late afternoon services because I like to sleep in at least one day a week. That makes it very convenient.
