Very caring and welcoming community. Wonderful pastors and many programs and activities for people of all ages! You will definitely grow in your faith at this gospel preaching church!

I went there for my grandmother's visitation. Nice place great preaching. Has a kids factory there for obviously your kids. Anyway. Good church

I've been going here for over 5 years, probably closer to 10. We think of ourselves as not just Christians, but Christ Followers.nnThere are 2 church services. The sermon is the same for both. The first service has traditional music and the second service is more contemporary.nnChurch service and most Sunday bible classes are on one floor. On the shorter side of the building is valet parking. The picture in this post is the valet door on Palm Sunday.nnWe have a good healthy age range. They have nurseries for infants and toddlers that is by the main lobby. All children Elementary School age and younger are signed in and out at dusk and the both the parent and a child get a sticker. Only the person with the matching sticker can get the child at the end of service. I think this is a good safety precaution.nnThe congregation is about 80% - 90% white.nI think that has more to do with the location then acceptance. Last year the pastors were only 60% white.nnMaywood has an app that's has announcements, a copy of the newsletter, sermon notes, videos of sermons and other things that I don't remember right now.

Scared my 10 year old daughter off with fire and brimstone after 2 full years of attending awanas. Changes structure & policy fairly frequently but was good until she had the ability to decide for herself
