St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Mokena, IL is a beautiful church. I find the building ample in size to accommodate many parishioners at one time. The lower level of the church holds separate masses during Christmas and Easter when more folks gather. Sunday masses are during the early and later morning hours and six pm. Parking is plentiful even if you arrive later. The pastor is Father Dindo who is friendly & down to earth. His homilies are always good and I enjoy how he takes experiences from his own life to share. Reconciliation or confession is available on Saturday during the afternoon & I find this very helpful and also convenient. I do recommend St Mary’s Church it is inviting with warm welcoming lay people/volunteers ready to greet you and answer any questions you may have.

I want to like this church as it's close to my house. Cry room is huge and there are always seats for the kids. That's a huge plus given other churches have much smaller cry rooms. Everytime we go here it just doesn't have the atmosphere of our other church and the sermons tend to be average. The school looks like it's a great one though.
