It's the Best of the Family Dollar stores in Peoria. It's in the old Thompson Food Basket on Western. The store may need to be remodeled but the staff keeps it clean and organize. You need only to ask and you're assisted right away. The manager is always professional.

I had a very nice experience at this location , and beside the clerks being very friendly& helpful, it was the 1st time I've been in the store since HS, when I worked there, when it was a popular grocery store. Sharing some of that w/the clerks was nice.
The assistant manager told me undoubtedly you cannot purchase items unless you have exact change because I tried to purchase garbage bags, and freezer bags with a $10.00 bill and she the assistant manager claimed that was a large bill and she couldn't take it I'd have to get change and come back to make my purchase I have not only been a customer you know this white boy which is insultingn1. I am Creek not whiten2 I stopped at the Harmon highway store and had no problem making my purchasennThis not the first time I have had a problem with this person andnI was once a contractor and family Dollar was one of my customers and that was one of the stores in which I was a vender
