Was driving by and saw that the store was open yesterday and decided to go in. Usually closed, but the store windows were decorated for the holidays. Chenoa is my stop on my way from Chicago to St. Louis and have bought things in the past when the store was open on a regular basis. Anyway, went in and met the owners son. Very chatty guy, but seemed knowledgeable. Said Mother and Father started the store back in 1979, but can't run the store anymore. Ended up buying a Flow-blue plate. Great place to find unique gifts.....when it's open.
Owner believes in the trapping and drowning of animals over relocating them to a safe place
