Fabulous public course! Originally private and you can see that from the challenging design. The bunkers are much improved this year as a huge amount of sand has been added. I wish the traps would be groomed before the Friday and Saturday rounds but you will love the course.

Thank you Turnberry staff for a great golf experience this summer. My son is just starting to play. Having inquired early this summer, the staff mentioned that if I booked 9-holes through GolfNow, we could play a round together for 15 dollars a piece. As I've looked out at different offerings for junior golf, this is one of the best deals around. Specifically as I've tried to play some golf with my son in the morning before it gets either too crowded or muggy to play - most deals tend to be in the afternoon or twilight. My son and I got to go out 4 or 5 times this summer and we enjoyed the golf course. Overall, the course is in good condition and all the interaction we had with the staff was kind and courteous. I hope to get out there again next summer. Note that it is great to see that a lot of the reviews are responded too by the team at Turnberry. It demonstrates their willingness to continually improve and look out for their guests. We'll be back next summer. (My son and I are both heading back to school shortly so morning golf - on a weekday - is done for this year.)

If You haven't played Turnberry, you're missing out. The owners have done a fabulous job of creating a positive experience. The course is challenging, the fairways and greens are immaculate, and the food is the best in the county. This hidden gem is surely one of the areas best kept secrets. Must see.

Solid course. Really pretty and challanging in a fun way.nnI would how we be careful coming this time of year in Oct. They aerated around the greens and it really made some shots unplayable which was a bummer. Otherwise though its a great course
