Put on a great fireworks show with safe social distancing.

The speakers are nice and loud and you're in close proximity to the field. There's also a large screen if you miss something. Bleachers on the home side of the field are concrete with old wood benches though, and it gets cold quickly in the shade and the wind. The concessions are fine and you can buy beer.

Attended football game. Comfortable seating on the 50 yard line. My daughter liked the flavor of the popcorn. Bathrooms accessible and clean. Festive. Parking is free.

I've been to countless football games here over the last 35 years. The 97, 98, 2002, 2003 teams were of national championship caliber. This is the only college stadium in the country, that I know of, that has the marching band at the 50 yard line, which takes up at least 250 great seats. I've been to games where the attendance was well over 10,000 people, but when I read the box score online, the attendance was said to be 5,000. Stadium capacity is over 16,500. I was at both games in 2003 against SIU and UNI, where attendance was closer to 18,000 with people sitting in the grass on the west side. Lately, attendance figures are reported as lower than actual. I have no idea why this is done. Reported attendance at games over the last few years has been off. I can see with my own eyes and come up with a pretty good guess at how many people are there in attendance, and when the figures are reported, it leaves me scratching my head. Why is it reported that attendance was only 3,500 to 5,000 when I know it was closer to 10,000? When the east side alone is nearly full, that would account for 8 to 9,000 right there, not counting the west side.

Nice football stadium for watching a college game. East side bakes in the sun so the best view is from the west grand stand. Best of all is after trailing much of the game they came back to win! Never count the home team out!
